Looking wistfully out of my full-length glass office window on a Sunday, I’m amazed at the number of people out and about. School holidays are all finished, it’s a gorgeous sunny day and Hastings street is abuzz with people of all ages. Its hard to believe this is winter when you see everyone in shorts and bathers wandering around – so very lucky to live here in beautiful Noosa.

For art lovers, there’s a new exhibition at Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre, 11A Maple St, showcasing the culture of 5 artists from the Bundaberg region. Opening Friday 26 July and on show until 3 September. The beautiful hinterland towns of Cooroy and Eumundi are both great places to stop for lunch or a coffee with plenty of specialty shops to browse away the hours and pick up that extra special gift for yourself or a loved one.
