SURFS UP….which is perfect timing for the festival of surfing due to be held from Saturday 2nd March to Sunday 10th March. Anyone in the area will be aware the surf has been massive following the wild weather surrounding the Cyclone Oma threat that thankfully didn’t happen as predicted.
Our poor beaches took a bit of a hammering, but the weather has been stunning with sunny blustery days bringing a welcome cooler change for all. There’ll be plenty of activity surrounding the beaches with the festival taking front and centre stage so checkout the links below for all the workshops and activities available including sand castle building, yoga, cultural & sustainability events and even a beach bar, so it sounds like lots of fun with something for everyone.
